Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such
there is no law.
The third fruit
of the spirit is Peace.
Peace-
In a general sense, a state of quiet or tranquility; freedom from disturbance
or agitation; applicable to society, to individuals, or to the temper of the
mind. Freedom from agitation or disturbance by the passions, as from fear,
terror, anger, anxiety or the like; quietness of mind; tranquility; calmness;
quiet of conscience. Harmony; concord; a state of reconciliation between
parties at variance.
Peace
can only come from GOD. HE gives us peace when we are in his will doing what is
right! The world may outwardly act like they are fine and everything is O.K.
but deep down inside they KNOW they don’t have GODs everlasting peace.
John 14:27
Peace I leave
with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
