PEACE

Ephesians 2:14
"For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;"

Because this verse is describing Jesus Christ, the first clause states that Jesus IS our peace. As a biblical literalist, I believe this means that Jesus Christ is our peace, not that He gives us peace. Now, of course He is more than just peace, and to say that all peace is Christ is foolishness. However, as long as we have Jesus Christ, we have peace.

Since Jesus is our peace, and He promised in Hebrews 13:5 to never leave us or forsake us, we will ALWAYS have peace, because Jesus will ALWAYS be with us.
